How Work & Wanderer makes money, who we work with, and how it affects what we recommend.
The short version
Work & Wanderer earns a commission when you book or purchase something through links on this site. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go direct. The commission comes from the brand, not from you.
We only recommend products and services we have personally used or thoroughly researched. A higher commission rate never causes us to recommend something we wouldn’t use ourselves.
How it works
When you click an affiliate link on this site and complete a booking or purchase, the brand pays us a percentage of the transaction value. This is tracked via a cookie placed in your browser when you click the link.
We are a member of the Travelpayouts affiliate network, which connects us to travel brands including flight search engines, hotel booking platforms, eSIM providers, travel insurance companies, and more.

Our editorial standards
Affiliate relationships do not influence which products we feature or how we review them. Our process is:
- We research and test products independently before recommending them
- We do not accept payment for positive reviews or guaranteed placements
- If we have used a product and had a negative experience, we say so
- Commission rates are never a factor in our star ratings or written assessments
- We update our recommendations regularly — if something gets worse, we remove it

When you search for and book flights or hotels through this tool, we earn a commission from Travelpayouts at no additional cost to you. All bookings are completed directly with the airline or hotel on their own secure website.
